“Before you can be who and what you want to be in Christ, you must be willing to be fully exposed and fully honest before God about who and what you are right now You can’t come to Him talking, thinking, and acting like everything is right when it isn’t. You can’t come to Him with fake prayers and fake spirituality. You have to be real with Him.” “I’ve talked with many believers who come” “to me and say, “Pastor, my prayers seem stale. It seems like I’m saying the same things over and over and nothing is happening.” When I hear that, I suggest that the reason that person is saying the same things to God over and over is because there are things he or she doesn’t want to talk to Him about.
Instead of getting down with what’s really going on in their lives, many believers come to God spouting what I call “canned prayers.” All they talk to God about is how they want to be blessed, and they do that without dealing with what’s really on their hearts and, more importantly, on God’s heart.
In other words, they are hiding from God because they are coming to Him with a veil over their face.
Nothing about those kinds of prayers has anything to do with our being transformed and conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. On the other hand, coming to” “God being completely open and honest about the things you know are not Christlike—that’s the kind of prayers that move you closer to truly being the new you.
We all need to understand that there is no place we can go and nothing we can do to hide ourselves from God. King David wrote and rhetorically asked, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there” (Psalm 139:7-8).
This means that God already knows everything about you. He knows about all your sin and shortcomings. He knows about the addictions, habits, behaviors, thought patterns, and attitudes that keep you from enjoying intimate fellowship with Him. He knows those things, and He wants more than anything for you to bring them to Him openly and honestly so that He can deal with them.”

This answers all the questions of unbelivers and those who’ve lost their way – in a simple point. Simple but so essential that it is incredibly easy to miss it along the way. Take note – what ever you believe or think – this works – liberates, unshackles, frees!
